Vanderburg Elementary Fifth Graders Brighten Thanksgiving for St. Rose Patients

ImagePatients at St. Rose Dominican Hospitals-Siena Campus received a very nice surprise on Thanksgiving when their evening meals were served. Rikki W’s fifth grade class at Vanderburg Elementary School created 100 of the special Thanksgiving-themed meal tray placemats like the one shown above.

Each placemat featured a turkey and a Happy Thanksgiving message from the class’s teacher who had actually spent Thanksgiving in the hospital 10 years ago.

St. Rose and its appreciative patients would like to extend a HUGE thank you to Rikki and her fifth grade class – your thoughtfulness make a lot of people happier this Thanksgiving.
