Siena Campus Earns 2012 HealthInsight Quality Award

We’re pleased to announce that our Siena Campus has just been presented with the 2012 HealthInsight Quality Award for achieving a high level of performance on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid’s (CMS) publicly reported quality data and promoting transparency in its healthcare system.

Beginning in 2011, the CMS Quality Measures national ranking and the Patient Perception of Care (HCAHPS) rankings were combined to form a single national ranking. Clinical measures are weighted 70 percent and HCAHPS weighted 30 percent of the overall combined ranking. To receive a 2012 HealthInsight Quality Award, the Siena Campus had to rank at or above the 75th percentile in the combined national ranking based on data posted on www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov that reflect the period of October 1, 2010–September 30, 2011.

“The staff at St. Rose Dominican Hospitals is dedicated to providing the very best in patient care and our efforts have been enhanced through our quality improvement collaborations with HealthInsight. We are proud to be a recipient of this distinguished award,” said Rod Davis, president and CEO of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals and senior vice president of operations, Dignity Health Nevada.

HealthInsight commends St. Rose Dominican Hospitals-Siena Campus for its commitment to excellence in improving patient care,” said Marc Bennett, President and CEO of HealthInsight.
